Norwegian Spirit blev en del af Norwegian Cruise Lines flåde i 2004.
Siden da har skibet gennemgået flere opdateringer, senest i 2020, hvor skibet gennemgik en omfattende renovering. Den dyreste og mest gennemgribende renovering i Norwegians historie.

Norwegian Spirit byder nu på en lang perlerække af aktiviteter, underholdning, faciliteter og spisemuligheder. Skibet er uden de store aktiviteter for børn, men derimod er der lagt op til uovertruffen luksus, både i form af restauranter, barer, lounges og dejlige områder til afslapning.
Alle kahytter er moderniseret og standarden er hævet gevaldigt, skibet er absolut tænkt til det modne publikum, der ønsker at et krydstogt på en ny måde.
Ombord finder du ret hav af spisemuligheder, barer og lounges, så der er rigeligt at vælge imellem. Smagsoplevelserne spænder vidt, og mange af skibets restauranter er inkluderet i prisen. Foruden de inkluderede restauranter er der også mulighed for specialrestauranter, mod gebyr.
Besøg kasinoet, gå på opdagelse efter nye smukke smykker i butikkerne eller nyd en forfriskning i en af de mange barer eller lounges. Eller nyd en afslappende stund i den flotte spaafdeling.
